In order to edit our film, we used iMovie on the Apple Macs. The first hurdle we had to overcome was uploading the footage because the camera we had shot on was not compatable with the software we were using. iMovie also had its flaws, disallowing us to seperate sections of the sound within our film, therefore the visual is currently stronger and more fluent than the sound.
The process in which we edited our film was to initially piece together shots in order to form a coherent throughline and a skeleton structure. We then went on to consider establishing shots and continuity within the film, for instance, matching the sound to the scene without repeating anything.
